Projects and tasks

Every project's real state, without asking anyone

Milestones, boards, My Tasks, subtasks, dependencies and recurring work, with progress computed from the tasks themselves, so the number you report is the number that is true.

[ 01 ] How it works

From brief to done

  1. 01

    Create the project

For a client or internal, with an owner, members, a due date and milestones as a checklist.

  2. 02

    Break it into tasks

Assignees, due dates, task types and subtasks. Blocked-by links make dependencies visible.

  3. 03

    Run it day to day

Each person works from My Tasks: overdue, today, this week, upcoming. Managers work from the board.

  4. 04

    Close it on the record

Progress follows completed tasks; comments, files and activity stay with the work.

[ 02 ] Tasks

The same work, the view you need

  • List, board and My Tasks

One set of tasks, grouped the way each person asks: by status on the board, by date in My Tasks, by project in the list.

  • Subtasks and dependencies

Break work down, and mark what it is blocked by. When the blocker completes, an automation can move the next task to To do.

  • Recurring tasks

Weekly reports and monthly reviews scheduled once, created on time, assigned to the same person.

  • Task types

Your own types (design, build, review, meeting) set in Settings, used in filters and in time reports.

  • Comments with mentions

A thread on every task; a mention notifies the person in the app and by email.

  • Estimates

An estimate on a task feeds forward capacity, so a manager can see who is free in three weeks.

[ 03 ] Projects

One page per project

  • Milestones

A checklist of the moments that matter, on the project and on the calendar.

  • Progress and health

Computed from the tasks, with overdue work called out rather than averaged away.

  • Members

Who is on it; access follows roles, so an employee sees the projects they work on.

  • Files

Versioned files on the project, each internal or client-visible.

  • Calendar

Task and project deadlines, milestones, approvals, meetings and leave, by day, week or month.

  • Billing mode

With time tracking on, a project is hourly or fixed-price, in its own currency if it needs one.

[ 05 ] Questions

Asked before buying

Is there a Gantt chart?
Not today. Projects have milestones, a board, a list and a calendar, and dependencies are tracked as blocked-by links.
Can we bring our existing projects in?
Yes. Projects, milestones and tasks import from a spreadsheet: download the template, map your columns and preview what will be added before anything is written. One click undoes an import.
Are there project templates?
Not yet as a gallery. Recurring tasks cover repeating work, and a spreadsheet import can set up a standard project in one go.
